TGR Music Group is an independent record label with distribution from Sony Music Entertainment Sweden and The Orchard.
It all started with a big love for music, design and club culture.
The founders, also brothers, Niklas and Patrik had been working with their clothing label for some years. Hosting club events all around Sweden with their own concept; having artist perform at events while promoting their brand and merch. That led to the brothers working with a lot of different artists all over Sweden. Thus the brothers founded TGR to help some of the artist they had become friends with release their music.
By unorthodox marketing ideas and a new way to bring music to the people, TGR quickly grew into something more than just a way to release music amongst friends. The music industry was at the time going into streaming and the third brother, Martin started working with the label as a way of expansion. TGR quickly found their place in the new way to ”sell” music via streaming, and did very well at it.
In 2017 Sony Music Entertainment Sweden became a partner in TGR Music Group AB.
Today, TGR Music Group is an Independent label with the muscle of a major label. Working with all kinds of music and genres with one important foundation value: to let the artist be creative with the support they need in the process.
TGR always strive to be in the front edge of the music industry and create their own path within it.
